Barrett Road Farm Project
Start Date: 2012
Completion Date: Ongoing
Project: Daniel Blomfield Consulting were asked to create a new crossing entrance as the old one had become overgrown and the top one was far too steep. We were lucky to be doing the Leightons project which had 26000m3 of rock to be removed and started the entrance with importing concrete but quickly changed to the metal and rock from Leightons which ended up to be the only way possible to go threw the swamp area and using over 100 loads of metal at no cost to the client we successfully made an new access to the house area which we cut to engineered design but we were left with a large amount of sloping land with no area for sheds or parking.
Stage 2 of the Barrett Road Farm Project started with the felling of pines and the importing of clay and topsoil to the surrounding areas. This allowed us to give parking a shed pad and a very sizeable flat front lawn as requested by the owner. This was completed at no charge except for the finishing of the driveway with a heavily reduced rate of $50.00 per load for gap 65 spread and delivered to site.
We have now completed 11 sites in Barrett Road including new front lawn extensions, removal of unusable banks and gullies that can not be walked let alone grazed and have returned by request every year as the clients keep asking for more.
