Millwater Parkway

Project:  Millwater was started on Monday the 8th of November, Daniel Blomfield Consulting provided a Caterpillar  D3 Dozer onsite to spread and track roll all fill daily for the duration of the filling.  A Caterpillar 312c digger was used for the re in-statement and full removal of the haul road from entrance to fill site and a Tractor and discs were the only charge as we came across a hole of 20m x 30m x 6 metrs deep of sludge that had to be dried and then placed and re top soiled in the neighboring field all at a minimal charge to McConnell Dowell.

The field has had a thick layer of clay capping able to withstand a truck and trailor unit or as many as ten over the pond at one time.  Daniel Blomfield Consulting completely topsoiled this area and in a strike of luck we were doing the finishing at the same time Recreational services were coring the neighbouring sports field so the spread this across our job for stabilization again at no charge.

We managed the site and truck movements of over a 100 trucks a day and gave daily quantity sheets to McConnell Dowell and no contaminated material and only clean topsoil and clay was introduced to the site.

We had the fill in various sites around Millwater and were able to finish the project before the Christmas break, including the removal and re in-statement of the haul road.
